Macau people used to be silent, reserved and tolerate in the old days, but now seeing what had happened in May Day protest, I realized that Macau people can be radical as well.

I think the government should really take strong steps in narrowing the poverty gap as well as improving the serious bribery problem, otherwise, I certainly would not feel surprised to see another riot.

I really think that it is not necessary for that police official to have fired the gun to calm the angry crowd down. I agreed with what Mr Wong had said, both the crowd and the police were losers.
In addition, I am glad that our local people dare to take strong action to give government pressure to make changes as well as unveiling the hidden discontentment to the rest of the world!

PS, dear Mr/MS Lear, I really appreciate your way of writing and your personal opinion~

Thanks for your message.

I am also glad that finally we can see people voice out their comments, although the rally people need more organized and strategically well planned in the future.

It is really a sad thing we saw the reaction form local media and associations in these days. Even sadder thing is: what makes them act like this? Why there is no serious after-scene review? Why we couldn’t sit down and try to solve the problem? Why it turns like a battle between good and bad? Can really this mayhem concluded in the simple “right-wrong” way? Are we going to move forward or just stay where we are since the very beginning? Sadly, all questions provide us no answers whatsoever.

Again, thanks for your comments and hope can see you more often here.

Don‘t try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to.
